Dancehall crossover veteran SHAGGY teamed up with Jamaican pop sensation OMI to produce a beautiful collaboration. This sultry single describes the love and affection that Shaggy has for the woman of his dreams. Although we know Shaggy for his usually flirtatious and upbeat styles, this song implies that Mr. Boombastic himself is ready and willing to put a ring on it.

Amazingly, both Shaggy and Omi were born in Jamaica and migrated to New York shortly after birth. Shaggy has been making hits since the early 90s. He was discovered at the age of 19 and has been a major influence in dancehall music ever since. Omi emerged on the music scene in 2012 after his hit single “Cheerleader” was remixed and re-released. Prior to this, he was considered a local artist upon his return to Kingston, Jamaica. He had essentially given up on his music career until “Cheerleader” was revived.
