“Shape of You” has proven to be one of ED SHEERAN‘s biggest hit yet! It held the number one spot on the Billboard charts for weeks and was his first number one single. Sheeran has taken his hit to the next level by pairing with world-renowned supergroup Major Lazer and international artists Kranium and Nyla. Major Lazer uses heavy Caribbean influences in their music and infuses it with banging pop/house beats. Kranium’s smooth style helps to accentuate the island flair while Nyla’s vocals can be heard spicing up an already catchy hook.

This collaboration is quite literally major! Kranium, a dancehall artist out of Jamaica, is formally introduced to an audience that he may not have been exposed to otherwise. It also shows the versatility of both Ed Sheeran and Kranium. Nyla is a Jamaican dancehall songstress who made her debut with the group Brick and Lace in 2007. She is featured on another Major Lazer hit single, “Light It Up.”
