PROTOJE is a voice for the people in his currently released single “Blood Money”. The single has proven to be an instant sensation in the islands. The song brings attention to the everyday struggle of people living in Jamaica. It’s survival of the fittest. Protoje pleads with the political powers overseeing the country to make an effort to put an end to violence, corruption, and greed.

Police cancel “OPERATION” / Cause no real badman ago station / That’s when I check the situation / It’s the blood money that runs the nation!

Protoje is apart of a large camp of musicians titled Indiggnation. With his band of creatives, the solo singer has events and programs encouraging the inner city youth to explore the arts and stay out of the streets. Through this initiative and his world tour, Protoje is sharing the message of his album Ancient Future. Fans are anticipating the star singer’s next big release following his chart-topping hit “Who Knows” with Chronixx.

“Music is free,” he said. “Anybody can do what they want to do. I just feel like we as Jamaican artists might not get the opportunities to get our music out there in the same market. When American artists use Jamaican music into their pop music, they get all the credit, but I just believe you get what you deserve.” – Protoje

It’s a dog eat dog world in the visual composition for single “Blood Money” by Protoje.
